Default Did chevy "ever" make a 400 BB?

Newbee here, I'm trying to settle a disagreement, I say No they didn't, he says yes they did, that they made a 400 BB & a 402 BB, i said NO, The only "true" 400 ci CHEVY was a SB, the 402 was a bore out "detuned" 396, Am i right or wrong? He is going off what chiltons said, but i think is was a bit confusing at the time of the crossover in these yrs. as to what was truely what. If they did, I would like to know the rundown on bore & stroke.
