Disabling the alarm?
I have an '09 Suburban, but believe this question is applicable to other models as well, so I'm asking it here please.
If I lock the vehicle with the remote, or the power lock button, it sets the alarm. Unlocking the vehicle by any means other than using the remote will set off the alarm. This is not good.
I know that manually locking each door by pushing down each door's lock will not set the alarm, but this is not practical.
Is there any way to disable or bypass the alarm so that I can lock it with the remote or power lock button without setting the alarm?
thanks
