Default Do springs go bad

I am asking this question about a honda accord. the suspension squeeks when just regular driving all the time. I have resently put on both new inner and outer tie rod ends, and new shocks. The only thing left is the springs. I thought springs are cold steel and don't go bad often I belived. But am I wrong do springs go bad often more than I thought. If the springs are bad is squeeking going to be the only problem or is the tires going to wear?

Default RE: Do springs go bad

With continuous hard driving or overloading the carthe springs can go bad. If the springs are bad the car will be bottoming out easily and probably cornering strangely. But if squeaking is the worry I doubt the cause is bad springs. Something is rubbing. Check your sway bar, control arm bushings etc.
