I can't find a lock actuator with theft deterrent for my 2004 silverado crew cab, what will happen if I install the actuator from dealership without the theft deterrent outlet?

 

what is the problem that you are trying to fix?

I have no idea what a theft deterrent outlet is....did you get some bad information?

 

My power door lock stopped working, and all the places I call for the replacement actuator do not have the (ajar switch) on them,they called it "anti theft" at the dealership.

 

Sorry, I won't be much help then.
I thought they all used the actuator for door ajar inputs. my 2000 sierra does not have antitheft and uses the door lock actuator for door ajar inputs to the bcm.
I've replace a few in my time and have never been asked that by my parts dept.
if you have remote fobs you probably have antitheft

 

Yes I have a remote fob, parts dept have even looked up part by VIN number and the computer wants to give part without ajar switch.
