Default DRL in GMC

Where is the DRL located in a 2004 GMC sierra? A blue light is on in the dash and then a brand new battery is dead in a few days. I was told this could be the DRL module. Any ideas?

the blue light in the dash...is it not the high beam indicator?

there is no drl module. the drl are controlled by the bcm. info from the ambient light sensor, headlight switch, engine running, ebrake off, trans in drive are all the inputs the bcm needs to run the drl.

you need to perform a parasitic draw test to find the amount of the draw andsource of the power draw. youtube search eric the car guy. he has a good video on his channel on how to perform this test.
