Default Duramax coolant

I`m looking at a early 2007 Duramax with 11500 on it . I talked to the so called previous owner and he said tha he had to top the coolant a few times. It throws a red flag for me on avehichle this new. Has anyone had to do this ? I have a 2000 Z 71 and have on added coolant 1 time in 8 yrs.

In another post you said it already had 2 owners plus its losing coolant. Though the duramax are extremely reliable I would probably listen to your gut feeling. 2 owners at 10K miles definately is unusual.

Hey Engine 2
I used my gut feeling and decided against this truck. I was at a GMC dealer today and they priced me a new truck with the Diesel as the same price as the other dealer did on the used truck. It didn`t have leather or the crew cab but the Extended cab for a little over $ 35000 and that was also the price the used one so that was a no brainer for me. But Thank you guys for your help.
