Default E-Test Help

Hi I have a chevy lumina 3.8, it runs nice and doesnt blow any blue smoke but when giving it a lot of gas it misfires sometimes. I need to get a e-test and I am just wondering some tips on what I should do to pass it.

Driving without a gas cap will not affect vehicle performance but it will cause the check engine light to come on.
Fuel will evaporate not to mention the obvious dangers of the fumes that escape are highly flammable, also there is the possibility of fuel sloshing out of the opening and affecting the painted surface not to mention its a good probable cause to be pulled over for...
