ecm questions
tried both sets of injectors, same thing. yeah it sounds odd. cant get the guy that did my chip to check and see if he did something wrong. (everybody makes mistakes). the calpac number in the 7747 shows to be for the camaro ecm, but it dosnt have a removable chip, could that be the dif? thanks
its something in the fuel and spark delivery obviously. and yea, def possible the chip wasn't programmed right, or something has happened to it. with ecm, timing advance is done electronically, but you do have a 4 degree either way tolerance. i'm not convinced it's all timing tho. something is not telling injectors to spray more.
i'm still inclined to think in the fuel. if it was spark, it wouldn't necessarily have a dead spot. it might sputter, but still go. the fact that the stock ecm lets it accelerate just fine, that leads me to think the chip or ecm chip is in is messed up.
im not convinced that these ecms are interchangable, they both run totally dif. unless the esc, knock sensor, map are dif. they show bif part numbers from a 5.0 to a 4.3 and a 5.7 which show the same. could that be a problem? thanks, t-roy
