i'm trying to decifer the engine casting code on my engine...i've searched the net but haven't been able to find anything...the number i found was T0127OG0..the only thing i have found is that the T=Tonawanda...01=January...27=27th day...it's the last three digits that i cannot locate...anyone have any ideas here?...any info was be greatly appreciated

ok so i read the letters wrong...the last 3 digits are CGC...any ideas?

 

Hay all,I Have this engine that i cannot seem to decode,I tried various internet sites,got the decode book and still no luck. Could someone please help me figure it out (year...) .Here are some of the #s 140 144 32 GMC FM 42 5.7L G SGI 96T 19243880 D295
