So, I plan on ditching the I6/AX15 in my 89 YJ for the 350/TH700r4. The 700 is very close to the length of the AX, and would seem to be the easiest and perhaps the cheapest (hopefully the driveshafts line up, I'm new to chevy stuff so I dunno) way to go about it. Plus overdrive as this is my DD.

Anyway, I'm curious to how long the 350 is so I can fumble around the engine bay and see what should work, and if this combo is best. I have several trannies in mind and have the stats. of each one, but I can't seem to find the stats. (length, mainly) of the 350.

Any help would be great.
