Default Push Rod Length

I have a '78 El Camino with a 350 and a 488 cam. What is the length of the push rods I should have?

are you running a hydraulic cam or solid lifter ? stock head's not excessivly milled ? if not stock length should be ok but hardened is better ,if so poly lock's with screw in stud's on the heads and they need to shortened the same length you remove from the heads only in excessive cases .

its a hydraulic cam, stock heads. the guy i bought it off of put a 488 cam in it, but i don't know if he did anything else to it. he had the distributor at a 90 degree to where it is supposed to sit. when it was there, the engine wouldn't idle less than 1500. he didn't have the wires running in the correct firing order either. now that the distributor is placed back in the correct position with the wires running right, i can't even get it to start.
