FactoryBluetoothMute?
Hi everyone, when i first got my car, a 2009 Chevy Cobalt, fully loaded,( it has a factory radio with mp3 player, Serius XM, and built-in bluetooth), the Bluetooth worked perfectly. Then, I think I hit some kind of mute button or something.
The connection is still there, I can dial out and hear phone calls BUT only using my phone to dial, IF i use the car to dial, it all works, i can see and hear the phone dialing out, however, the call itself seems to be muted. no sound.
Same with- I can hear calls coming in, but as soon as I press the accept call button, there is nothing there. It is also muted.
Did i press some weird mute button? I can't seem to figure out what i make this happen.
Thanks so much! Kim

I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue with your Bluetooth.
Have you tried pressing the talk button, when the system responds with "Ready", say "Mute Call".
Please refer to page 3-88 of the owner's manual.
You may also try re-pairing the phone to the vehicle.
If these do not resolve the issue, I recommend consulting with a certified technician. They will be able to offer additional information.
If you need assistance locating a technician near you, please PM me your zip code.
