I just bought a 93 C1500 4.3L V6 2 wheel drive Cheyenne full size truck with 96400 miles! It also has been sitting for three years prior to last week. To get it running i changed the battery, rotor,distributer cap, wires, spark plugs. ran strong for 50 miles. Then began to die intermittently. After diagnosing we noticed that the fuel would stopped spraying out of the throttle body. We then cleaned and turned over and then replaced first the air idle controller, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, pcv valve, and rebuilt the throttle body.

through out this trouble shooting the truck would start strong run for 2-3 minutes and die from lack of fuel becuase the injectors would stop spraying the fuel.
