The 5 amp starter circuit fuse on the left side of the dashboard on the passenger side of our 1996 Chev Lumina keeps blowing. We have had a new starter, starter switch, new computer component and disengaged the airbags. It might start the first 10, 20 or more times but within a day the fuse has blown again.

 

the starter draws more than 5 amps
are you sure u have the right size fuse
if u do
there i high resistance somewhere
