Recently blew head gasket on motor. Tore top half of motor down checked it out did some massive upgrades. Let motor drain for months with drain plug out. I have put it back together with discount oil in it with plans to cycle it through it then drain it out put new oil in it to run it. My question is. Will a oil priming pump get enough oil through the motor to get any left over water/antifreeze out? Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts on this matter.

 

Pull out the lower hose. Flush the leftover coolant out with distilled water, and reinstall the hose. Fill with 50/50 coolant. Change out the oil and oil filter. Coolant destroys your engine bearings.
