The position is located @ 61 Plaza Dr, Beardstown, IL 62618, which is a 39 mile commute from Macomb, IL or a 28 mile commute from Jacksonville, IL.
If you meet the aforementioned and the subsequent description, you will be hired: one with ethics and aptitude who understands the bridge between IT, Electronics, and possesses a solidified mechanical comprehension; and possess a robust willingness to learn. Continued education will be sponsored.
GM Factory Certifications are imperative for this position, but providing an exception: one is able to demonstrate a comparable substitute from another factory certification or a form of technical expertise that suggests one is able to succeed in this position, resumes will still be taken under review if one does not possess GM Factory Certification. When you assume this role in our dealership, your core purpose is to execute repair orders with precision on the first effort and with timeliness such that repair orders meet the schedule set by the Service Manager.
The position is full-time, which requires 40-44 hours per week, albeit overtime is strongly urged and supported, (Monday-Friday + 8a-12p on Saturday), with paid vacation and holiday pay. Given the previous statements, from what has been observed in the franchised automotive service centers, a successful Service Technician possesses passion for his work with deep desire for overtime work and pay. Compensation rate is negotiable pending review of applicant’s resume.
