Default Harmonic Balancer Installation
So I am getting ready to install my harmonic balancer and was curious, is there supposed to be a gap between the 'lip' of the harmonic balancer and the crankshaft seal?

Default seal fit
the lip of the seal should be in contact with the balancer hub when installed .try the seal on the balancer hub first before your put it in the cover and you will see.
