Default Heated seats

My name is mike, this is my first post so please bear with me. I own a 1999 S10 Blazer, 4wd. I was looking in the owners manual to find information on heated seats, and on section 1 page 6 it showed an image of a button system to turn the heated seats on or off. I look to the side of my seat to find that the panel itself is not even stock. Someone did a terrible job cutting a hole for the switches that control the automatic seats, but there is no heated seat buttons. I know I do have heated seats, because once in a blue moon it heats up quite drastically. Is there possibly a switch stuck beneath my seat that was left out during the crummy custom work, or do I just have a sweaty back, and how can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

EDIT

I just pulled off the panel, and I found a switch, but it has nothing to do with heating my seat. It says LUMBAR and I guess it's to lift or lower one side of the seat via air bag of some sort? It doesn't work, and I'm still at a loss of what to do.

EDIT #2

I pressed thelumbar buton, now my car won't start.
