Default HELP - Hard To Start When Engine is Cold

1996 1/2 ton truck with V6 stock engine, EFI. This truck is very hard to start in the morning when the engine is cold, meaning 35-40 degrees outside. After the truck has been started or in the afternoon it will start on first try.....but in morning it may take 10 tries to get it started.

This is a problem that has just developed over the last month.....before the cold weather was not a problem when starting.

Where should I start first? The engine has 118k miles on it.

I'd check for good fuel delivery / pressure the fuel pressure may be bleeding down or taking a while to build up due to weak fuel pump.
Also check the oppisite that the injectors aren't leaking and flooding the engine when its cold.
Just some thoughts...

A engine need more fuel to run cold. You need to look for low fuel pressure it maybe enough to run warm but not cold. You also need to look at the coolant temp sensor for the computer. If the computer thinks the engine is warm it will no provide enough fuel for it to run cold.
