Default HELP NEEDED!!! VEHICLE WON'T START!! Ideas Welcome!

bought a 2001 chevy suburban about 7 weeks ago and love it- except it tends to not want to start -has done this about 5 times!! security light not flashing, when turning key-so don't really think it is the security system-could it be fuel regulator or pump?? When i try and start it -all my gages light up but no start -no noise -just no start!! The past two times there has been about 1/4 tank of gas -could low fuel be a problem?? This is so weird because after the vehicle sits a while it will start!! Afraid I am gonna be stranded!!!

Define no start? Does it crank?
