Help! Twin Turbo set up =)
I have a new project I'm working on but I need some advise before I start buying stuff.
*Heres what I'm starting with.
-early 90's Tbi 350/5.7L V8 out of a Truck or car.
*This is what I want to do to it.
-I want to twin turbo it
.
-Run about 8 pounds
-Use cast heads and have them ported bigger
-Forge rods and pistons and new crank
-new TBI system
*Now my questions
-How much compression do I need to start out with to turbo??
-What do I need to do Different/Extra to turbo a TBI fuel system?
-Is there anything else I would/should do?
This motor will be dyno tuned.
I was also thinking, I wanna put the motor into a sleeper, Maybe even a single cab k1500/c1500 short bed 2wd with a lowering kit.
I need help lol, or maybe just Ideas. I'm 19 and I'm doing this with 8k.
