hep with blinker wire short

Default hep with blinker wire short
ok I have a 93 chevy 1500 and when I put on my blinkers they will blink fine but when I put on my brakes they will hyper blink and will only do it on random times, so does this mean I have a short in the wires or does it mean something totally different
