I have code p0742 and at times the torque converter would disengage and I would coast it in neutral and turn off and turn on the engine. Put it back in drive and would drive like nothing. But now that doesn't work and want to know if its the tcc switch or tcc solenoid valve? How can I bypass it to engage the torque converter so that I can move the van. Its a Chevy venture 4T65E tranny.
