How do I lift my truck by the torsion bolt. I have a 97 Chevy 1500 Silverado 2wd. Is there a link any one could send me to??

 

if you have a 2wd you don't have torsion bar's sou should have coil spring's.

 

Yeah torsion bars were generally found in the 4wd trucks. If you have them it's as simple as turning a wrench but it would only raise the front, but like old dog said in 97 it should be coil springs on a 2wd. You'll need to invest in a lift kit if you really want to lift your truck.
