recently a newly stock 454 chevy motor was put in my boat. stock hp ratings are rated at 330 hp.
I would like to increase that some with out getting to crazy. the motor was replacing the same motor that came out of the 1994 cobalt boat that the boat yard did not winterize properly. if I wasn't getting divorced at that time I would have made a few changes then. but know that the new motor is in. is there ay worth while things I can do to increase performance.

 

First rule to increase HP is more air in and more air out. You could also add a mild cam
