Default boat towing

I have a 07 Impala. I just bought a 16 ft bass boat. Does anyone know if it would be alright to tow the boat? Would the car handle it? Also are there already bolt holes from the factory to install a hitch?

I have an '05 SS and also had an '02 LT. Both had smaller motors than the '07 Impala. They both had hitches on them. I use it to pull my 4x8 trailer. I'll put my motorcycle in trailer, dump runs etc...pulled it no trouble. Dunno what kind of boat u have but if keep in mind, you might sink the back of the car while at a boat launch....

I have a '08 that I was going to put a hitch on and pull a trailer with my motorcycle on it. I see on chevy's web sight that the tow capacity is 1000 lbs. My trailer and motorcycle weigh 1140. I'm afraid to do it now. any opinions?
