I have a base model impala that has had starting problems this week and finally tonight it wont start at all. I spent about an hour looking for help with the car's problem and I think that it might be the starter, however I'm not sure were its located. When I try to start the car there is no sound, not even a clicking sound and I've noticed that the drive belt isn't turning at all either. please help

 

If the engine is TURNING over, but won’t ignite….won’t start, the starter is doing its job and the battery is doing its job. So you are missing one of the three key ingredients to make the engine fire off and start…spark…fuel….and compression.
