Default How specific is the my year truck ; a v6 2007 silverado?

What I mean is can use advise given about a 2003 or 2005 etc.etc. v6 silverado and confidently apply it towards my own truck?New to this and slightly confused!!

Welcome to the forum..
The 2001 to 2006 was the GMT800 models, 2007-2014 is the GMT900...
The engines are for the most part the same but there will be some differences in computers that control them...
I would say in general, yes you could use that information but depending on what you are doing, you may need that year specific information....
I would not go rebuilding your engine in a 2007 model basing it solely off 2003 information....
