Pulled a 10,000 lb trailer this weekend with my 01 duramax - 180,000 miles. The first 10 minutes check engine soon light comes on. 30 minutes later i pull over and the power was gone. I could not get out of second gear. I pulled off my hypertech programmer and put back into factory settings. Truck ran fine for 10 minutes but about 60 mph truck just lost power. Could not get over 30 MPH. Took trailer off and truck ran fine. I had the injectors replaced 40K back. Took the truck to the dealer and the code said injector pump failure. He then said that the fuel filter was really bad. I just changed in 2000 miles back. I have to pick the trailer up and take in 300 miles this weekend. Should I trust that I had bad gas and a dirtly filter or get the pump replaced?[/align]
