I have 2005 Trailblazer LT 4.2 4X4. I am looking to purchase a used instrument cluster on ebay. Do I have to get missing numbers to my cluster or does any cluster work? My vehicle does not have DIC. I'm assuming if the numbers match it will plug in and everything will work properly, if not, it will still work but some programming will have to be done. If so, what does that programming cost? Who can do it? If the answer is the dealer has to program it!?!? HA, no way! The cost would bust my budget and they should have recall have such a wide spread problem.
