some guy today...had a cooling system leak...filled the cooling system with....egg whites

so in addition to replacing the leaking radiator...he gets to pay to flush the system to remove coagulated egg protein. the smell was pretty good too.

unless you hate your car...don't do this or add any stop leak junk to your vehicle. replace the leaking component.

today, my coworker was trying to get all of the egg whites out of the reservoir surge tank...he will never get it all without replacing the tank

 

If you think what people read and do to their cars is bad, just imagine what I see when pet owners attempt to self doctor based on their "research". I have seen relatively simple pet illnesses become major medical & financial disasters or even lead to dead animals based on internet advice.

 

the internet can be terrible and wonderful at the same time.
