Issue with infotainment system bluetooth
I have an s6(samsung) phone that is having all kinds of bluetooth connection problems with my 2016 colorado's infotainment system. Looking for some help because a lot of these are incredibly annoying.
1. Colorado will not always connect to my phone properly, I will leave my truck, close all apps(pandora), come back in some time later and the truck will find my phone but does not play the sounds. In order for the sounds to work, I need to press the phone key, unpair the phone and then repair it. Gets really annoying when it happens multiple times a day(happens every other time or so it feels like)
2. This is the big one, the truck only cares about pandora running. If i get into my truck and turn on an audio book when the phone is connected with BT, nothing happens. I need to have Pandora running, then press start on the Audio book. This pauses pandora and lets the audio book play. As if this wasn't bad enough, pandora closes after 15 minutes of being paused(Which for some ungodly reason makes the truck drop the BT connetion). I then have to turn pandora back on, repair the phone as in issue one, turn the audio book back on, and rewind it because it kept playing to a dead BT connection. This is incredibly annoying because it happens every single time and usually when you need to focus on the road.
Does anyone else have this crap happen to them?? Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I pretty much need to get rid of the stock infotainment system to fix it?
