I've found a big block I believe to be a truck engine either a 396 or 454, its an oval port engine with staggered valves. the # I see on the block starter side rear are
T 4 sitting sideways and under that 364779 is there someone out there that can tell me from these # s what the engine is and any more info on it. I plan on rebuilding it for my El Camino Or maybe just to see what I can do with it. big ideas BUT there is no reason to start off with an engine not worth the effort with all the other big blocks around.
