Default Lowering 2002 Silverado

I got my 2002 Silverado 3 months ago and I always knew I wanted to do something with it to make it more appealing to the eyes. It's not a 4x4 so I decided to go with lowering it. I'm a body man and work in a body shop so I have a snap on box full of all sorts of hand and cordless tools at my expense so I knew everything I bought for my truck I'd be installing myself. First I bought lowering shackles for the rear leaf springs just so I could "even out" the factory height. After installation it still wasn't quite what I wanted. I look online and saw all sorts of nice lowered silverados like mine so I decided to go lower. $350 and a lot of sweaty hours later, I installed lowering hangers to go with the shackles and bought lowering coils to drop the front end a bit. My end result? 3 inch drop in the front and 6 inch drop in the rear. My truck now hugs the ground a lot tighter and has a much better appearance and I couldn't be any happier with it. I've installed a cold air intake system, gotten a flow master 44 muffler installed, and have a pioneer head unit, pioneer speakers in all doors, along with a Memphis audio 10 inch sub matched with a planet audio amp. I love my Chevy and I'd be happy to answer any questions and help in any way possible CHEVY NATION.
