My neighbor used meguires marine polish and a marine wax on is truck recently. I've always used automotive polishes and wax. I've never heard of using marine polishes for automotive use. I was wondering is this safe for cars or not? Thanks.

I would not use marine polish compounds because they can be too aggressive for automotive paints.
