Hello all ! This is an update on an older post of mine. Let me break it down for you.
I buy this vehicle, it runs and drives fine around town for a few days.
Driving it one day, low fuel light comes on, attempt to make it to a station - car shuts off. Assume I ran out of gas, put gas in it, - nothing ..
End up replacing the fuel pump, fires up again ! Start driving it, make it about a mile, shuts off again. Rewire my fuel pump - fires up again. Start driving, make it about a mile, shuts off.
WILL NOT FIRE. I am losing my mind ! It has been 4 months since it last ran !! I have replaced the fuel pump, filter, EGR, fuel pressure regulator, BOTH crankshaft sensors, camshaft sensor, I had the computer tuned and the VATS security removed entirely and still NOTHING ! All it does is turn over, it will not fire ! I've checked the spark, it's fine, I've checked the fuel pressure, it's fine . I have no idea what to do at this point ! This vehicle has been of no use to me , it's a paper weight at this point, and I'm nearly ready to send it to the crusher. PLEASE!! if you have any suggestions, or are familiar with this issue, help me !
