Bought a 1999 Tahoe 5.7. few weeks back with locked up engine,installed gm crate motor in it.Cold it starts and run good ,but drive it about 4 miles engine up to temp.start to miss and run rough smell of gas at exhaust.Also hard to turn over like a hydrolock.I've done a visual of the spider with key on no fuel coming out,it like running to rich,where to start looking
