I've got a 1986 Silverado (gas) that has started idling rough. It starts up fine (a little rough until given strong gas), but after it warms up and is in gear, I can feel it idling rough. Also, I've noticed that it seems to be putting off a heavier exhaust smell now.

I assume it just needs a overall tune up (plugs, wires, etc), but I'm just trying to see if there's anything else that it could be too. Many thanks in advance!

 

Check air cleaner,also see if choke is opening properly. That has that half breed carb thats part mechanical and part electrical. Could be a saturated float.
