Default Muffler Rattle

had a 3rd party muffler installed and it rattles at low speed. I’ve isolated sound to a round device protruding from muffler aft section. Picture attached, anyone know what this is?

It’s the round object just aft of muffler, about the size of a quarter. It moves freely when I grab on.

Looks like the muffler is too close to the car. lowering it about an inch should solve the problem.

That device behind the muffler is a passive exhaust valve. It acts as a broadband tuner in both V4 and V8 mode for a more refined sound.
