i drive a 1981 chevy c20 with a gm crate motor and i have no clue whats wrong with it. i was told by a guy that has been doing cars for ever and he said that it may be a trans issue or a preformance issue. the problems start out when i accelirate for the first 5 to 10 mins the truck is running it boggs down if i punch it to the floor and should there be a high idle for about 2 mins after i start it cuase it boggs down then to and when i am going around 20 mph and i punch it it just takes forever to get up to 45 the shift point and it seems like its reving really high but i dont have a tach to tell if it is. this is my first carb and i dont know if it needs adjusted or if the trans is the prob and just so you know its a holley 650 with a edelbrock intake with a th350 trans thanks for looking
