Hello I'm a newbie I've got a tech question. I have a 2008 suburban 5.3 afm can I remove the amf motor and simply replace the motor with one that does not have afm? Do I have to change the harness or can I use the one in the truck. I'm hoping just a simple swap.

 

Welcome from Florida. Are you looking to replace your motor because it is bad or just to get rid of AFM? there are AFM disablers available that are simple to install and work with the computer that you have.
