Default New Member Have Radio Question

Nice site here

I have to replace my OEM radio in my 2005 Silverado and bought one on ebay. When I take out my radio and put the new one in I get no lights on the display. Is this normal? I thought I read some where that it should say LOCKED on the display but I may be wrong. I know I need to get it to the dealer but I want to make sure the radio from ebay is not junk before I set up an appointment

Please help!

The radio should work....you may or may not get audio, but it should work when you initially plug it in.

It will say calibrate when its first powered up until it is programmed. And also if there is no audio, programming it should fix it
