Default no oil to rockerarms why????

i need some serious help so i have a s chevy s10 blazer and i just installed a new 4.3 v6 engine in it with tons of aftermarket parts but when i prime my oil pump im not getting any oil to the rockerarms but i am getting a reading of 60 psi on my oil pressure guage if anyone has an idea of what could be wrong please help... oil pump has been torqued on to 65 psi oil systems got 5 quarts of oil please help

Welcome to the Chevy Forum.

What weight of oil are you using?

60PSI is the pressure at the crankcase, not the heads.

How long did you run the engine while noticing this problem?

Did you match the gaskets carefully to the parts as you assembled everything?

its a new engine from fliteline engines and its got 5w 30 in it is that the factory recomended i also put 2 quarts of valvaline high zink oil on it to help with internal straight it got a new oil pump and screen new oil filter new performance oil cooler i knew about the problem before i even started the engine because when i was prining the oil pump no oil was coming up throw the lifters but because it was new the factory recomended starting it to get the oil to the top when i started it i ran it forabout 3_4 minutes

What kind of cam? Solid, hydraulic, hydraulic roller? Hydraulic lifters take a few seconds to pump up.
