i have a 1995 gmc sierra k1500 5.0 tbi. checked for power and ground at the relay terminals- ok. jumped fuel pump test connector and fuel pump works. checked gray wire at fuel pump connector when turn key on- test light does not light.

 

So with key on you do not hear fuel pump run?
My 93 did this, could add gas to throttle body and it would run; needed the ICM in the distributor
