Default O.E.M. CD/AM/FM Radio

Hello,
I have a spare '04 Blazer OEM radio. does this have to be programmed by a dealer before it will work in another chevy or gm vehicle? is there any other way to get it to work after re-installing it?

Default RE: O.E.M. CD/AM/FM Radio

Depends on if it's a Theftlock system. They're specifically designed to deter having a stolen radio re-activated. Usually says "Theftlock" right on the radio.
The unlocking procedure is on 0-16 in the Haynes Manual, or re-message me here if you think you have a "Theftlock"
