Default O2 help

hello all, and thank you to all who maybe able to help.........

as i'm sure you can see im new round here... i have an unusual problem, i do some r&d work for a few companies, mostly involving fuel supplements and alternative petro solutions. i have a 1995 5.7L, it came out of a 2 wheel drive suburban, don't know much else about the truck, but i pulled all ecm and total harness with the running motor to mount to a test platform and hook a hydrolic pump to flywheel to simulate load. now the engine runs superb (ecspecialy since i just rebuilt it). but the problem lies with the idle. once it begins to hit operating temp. it starts to idle higher and higher, my conclusion was that since there is no fan but a high flow electric water pump the comp was trying to cool the motor by spinning the fan faster thus creating the higher rpm...... added electric fans to test radiator..... no change. but in my haste to pull apart the harness to only include the engine details i forgot to find out where the sock inline chip was wired.. you know those purple wires like the one on the O2 sensor.. have two unused on ecm.... where does this part go and is it going to solve my idle issues, need to operate for mor than 5 min at a time to gather good data.... any help is greatly appreciated
