I got scammed buying a used 2001 Silverado 2500 HD 6.0 V8. The truck was listed at 119k miles and the odometer has that amount as well. The truck looks decently well maintained but the interior sure looks like it was used for work. Anyway it escaped me to get a car fax on it before the purchase so I did one when I got home. In 2014 it has 201,000. Meaning by now it’s nearing 280k or more. I paid 7,100 for it by haggling well and I’m sure I can recoup if I sold it back to someone else, and explain that tho odo is wrong to them. But I’m contemplating if I should sell it or not? It runs really good but obviously at that mileage I’m scared of problems down the road. What do you guys think? Sell or keep til it rots. I should add 7,100 is not a measly amount to me.
