Default Oil filter

Got another question .

I didn't know that they made an oil filter just for synthetic oil . I used a standard Fram tough guard high mileage oil filter . Is it necessary to use an oil filter that is for synthetic oil or is this just a gimmick to get you to buy a more expensive filter . This may sound like a stupid question but you don't know what you don't know without asking . Thanks MC

Nope, but you will get 3456655 responses regarding oil filter. My advise is to research micron rating, pleats , etc.
