Default oil leak

Permatex or not to permatex? That is the question. Just replaced all the gaskets on my 78 350. Still got a leak at the top back of the motor. I know its not the intake or the oil sending unit. Should I have used permatex on the distributer gasket? Tired of chasing leaks.

If it's not the intake or oil sending unit-it has to be the valve covers. If you used the front and rear intake gaskets, they are bad about slipping out. I build sbc all the time-I always use silicone in place of these two gaskets. Also, The sending unit, make sure it's not cracked.
