Exclamation Older Corvette 350! Will it work in Tahoe?

Hello,

I have a 2002 Tahoe 4wd LT 5.3ltr and the engine knocks sometimes and has a small miss when running.
I have a fresh new built 355 out of a 1985 Corvette just setting in my garage. My question is, will it bolt up to the trans in my 2002 Tahoe and can I transfer parts from the newer engine over to it.
Thanks in advance,
Jo

No I dont believe so. The LS series engine/trans is not really compatible with the Gen1 small block or transmissions. Check out this read here-

Fitting the 4L60E to First gen SBC

No, it's a completely different setup. If you wanna put that 355 in there you're looking at some serious work to make it happen. IMO replace the 5.3 (if you have to) with a 6.0!
